Leading our program is none other than Trey Faltine — a force in amateur and collegiate baseball. A former University of Texas Longhorn shortstop, 2021 Big 12 Spike Owen Defensive Player of the Year, and 7th-round MLB Draft pick by the Cincinnati Reds, Trey brings a rare pedigree and a powerful presence. He’s a two-time Team USA National Baseball member at both the 15U and 18U levels, a Perfect Game All-American, and an Area Code Games alumnus for the Texas Rangers — distinctions reserved for the nation’s most elite talent.

-- Fun fact: Trey was also drafted out of high school as a pitcher by the Boston Red Sox — but chose to pass on signing so he could pursue his childhood dream of playing for the University of Texas. That decision speaks volumes about his loyalty, drive, and love for the game --
